Requires consular visa category "B".
The visa allows you to stay in the country for 90 days.
Documentation needed:
- A letter of commitment addressed to the Director General of the Foreign Service
- A passport with at least six months of validity
- Fill out the visa form
- A recent color photograph
- Copy of airline tickets (if available)
- Round-trip flight itinerary
This process must be made in person at the offices of the Consular Section of the country of origin.

- Consular Visa or Consulted Visa: there is no possibility to apply for the corresponding visa in your country of origin or residence because there is no Salvadoran Consulate, due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.

- Validity: The Special Entry Permit granted will be valid for a single entry and exit; and, it will be valid according to the period established in the application.
- If the foreigner does not enter the country within the requested period, he/she must submit a new application to the General Directorate and pay the corresponding fee.
- Time of permanence: The time of permanence will be granted by the Border Migration Officer, upon entry of the foreigner, respecting the time requested and established in the respective resolution.

This procedure can be done virtually all the time.
This migratory procedure is directed to any natural or juridical person in the Republic of El Salvador that has contracted a foreign artist, individually or collectively, to enter the country, with the purpose of making presentations in the different branches of art:

Animation of cultural and commercial shows

Any other similar activity, radio or television
You can carry out this procedure online by complying with the requirements established in the Law:
1. Paying the immigration service fee
2. Sending the documentation to the mail:
3. Filling out and downloading form N°51 available here4. Send the resolution and certificate issued by the Dirección General de Espectáculos Públicos
5. Include the list of foreign artists, specifying:

Full name

Nationality
-
Current passport number and expiration date
6. Photocopy of the travel itinerary of each of the members of the list of foreign artists, detailing the airline, flight number, date of entry and exit from Salvadoran territory
7. Certified photocopy of the legal status and the Tax Identification Number of the Company.
8. Make the payment for the migratory fee for the Special Entry Permit for Artists:

IMPORTANT
- If there are any observations or missing documentation, you will be notified by e-mail.
- If there are no observations and everything is correct, a direct link will be shared via email so that you can make the corresponding payment for all foreign artists according to their nationality.
- Within 5 working days, the corresponding resolution in favor of the foreign artists will be notified by e-mail provided by the natural or legal person.More details here.

Steps

2. Enter your digital identity
Fill out the online passport application form as indicated and attach or upload supporting documents (if applicable)
4. Select the branch of your convenience. There, complete the payment ($25.00)- The online passport fee will remain $25.00 and can be paid with any debit or credit card.

Your application will be submitted to validation process. You will be able to visualize the status of your application through the Appweb and email, if it is approved or prevented. Pick up your passport or receive it at home, depending on the modality you selected.

Departure from El Salvador of children and adolescents of Salvadoran nationality or foreigners residing in El Salvador for tourism or residence in another country

- Online review and validation of authorizations for children and adolescents to leave the country:

Scan the original exit permit, including the signature of one or both parents, the notary's signature and the notary's seal.

Attach the permit and send it to atencion.prechequeo@migracion.gob.sv in PDF format, created from the original version, with good resolution, sharpness and clarity. If the document does not require correction, you will receive the authorization with a QR code that guarantees the approval and validity of the permission to leave the country.

At the time of traveling the child or adolescent, alone, accompanied by a parent or with a third person, must carry a valid passport, the original physical authorization and the QR code sent to the email, you have the option to present it on your phone or printed.

Submit the permit for review and validation well in advance of the planned travel date.
