For their stay in the national territory they must have sufficient economic means to live decently in the country and during their stay in Guatemala they may not occupy any public or private job, nor establish themselves commercially.
However, they may change their migratory status, and must abide by the provisions of Guatemalan legislation, without having to leave Guatemala.
- If you are in category "B" countries and have a valid American, Canadian or Schengen visa, it is not necessary to apply for a Guatemalan visa.
Documents to submit
- Visa application form.
- Valid and valid passport.
- Two photographs.
- Air, land or sea ticket reservation.
- Proof of income and/or bank statements for the last three months.
- International credit card.
- Proof of payment.
- If required by a company, the following must also be submitted:
- Original letter of service requirement, issued by the public or private institution requesting the foreigner.
For Minors:
- They must be accompanied by their parents or whoever exercises the legal representation, with the documentation that accredits it.
- If the minor is traveling alone or accompanied they must also present a written authorization signed by both parents.
