General Law on the rights of girls, boys and adolescents and its regulations

It mandates the non-detention of girls, boys and adolescents in immigration centers. Defines the procedure to be followed by immigration authorities, guaranteeing their rights without discrimination (Right to family unity). The Federal and State Prosecutors coordinate and monitor the special protection measures, in addition to determining the principle of best interests as the basis for the administrative process (including non-refoulement).
