Country Information

Human trafficking is a crime in which somebody deceives, threatens or forces another person in order to exploit them. If you find yourself in this type of situation, you can ask for help. In the “Country Information” section, you will find numbers you can call according to the country you are in.

Entry Requirements

Every migrant must carry, keep and show, at the request of any competent authority, the documentation which proves their identity. Find out more about the information you need during your stay on the "Entry Requirements" and "Protection and assistance" sections.

It's a myth

It is a myth to believe that human trafficking is only done for sexual exploitation. There are several goals behind human trafficking. For example, it is estimated that there are more than 2.4 million people in the world involved in situations of forced labor as a result of human trafficking.

Protection and Assistance

Debt is the main way traffickers keep control over their victims. Victims pay for their own documents, tickets, food, clothes, accommodation and even the drugs that they are forced to take. Seek help and visit the “Protection and Assistance” and “Country Information” sections to find organizations and emergency numbers that can help you.

Entry Requirements

Every migrant must enter a country through the migration posts authorized for such purposes. Find out more about the documents that you need to show at migration posts in the “Entry Requirements” section.
