It is important that you keep your documents in excellent conditions for all the procedures you must go through. Keep your passport, identification card or any document that you consider important in a safe place where any of them will not be damaged.
Do not be afraid to ask for protection in case of an emergency from a natural disaster or if you suffer from an accident. In the “Protection and Assistance” section you will find information on embassies and consulates.
Refuge and asylum may be granted to individuals who can prove that they have suffered persecution, for reasons of race, religion, political affiliation, nationality or sexual orientation.
