When requesting an appointment to process your passport at the central or regional Immigration offices, you must pay the deposit of $75 + 250 colones at the Banco de Costa Rica one day before the appointment, so that the payment is registered in the banking system. The deposit must contain the identity card number and full name of the person who is going to process the document.
