1)Temporary Business Worker:

Important:

 

Employment Authorization Document (EAD): A document that certifies that the foreign national may work in the United States for a specified period.

NOTICE: For some applicants who electronically filed Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, based on a pending Form I-589, Application for Asylum and Stay of Removal, the notice of receipt does not include information about the automatic 540-day extension of the EAD. On or before the week of March 20, 2023, these applicants will receive an email or text message indicating that they can find a corrected receipt notice in their USCIS online account. USCIS will also send corrected paper receipt notices by postal mail. Please note that, if you are eligible for the 540-day automatic extension of the EAD, any USCIS receipt notice of your Form I-765, along with your expired EAD, will serve as acceptable proof of the validity of the employment authorization and/or EAD during the automatic extension period.
